Dive deep into one of the most rich and rewarding longform structures in improv. In this class, we’ll explore The Deconstruction—a form that begins with a grounded, character-driven scene and uses that scene as a launchpad for heightening, commentary, and thematic exploration. You’ll learn how to pull ideas, patterns, and games from a single base reality and remix them into a full-length piece with clarity, variety, and cohesion. Great for performers looking to sharpen their skills in grounding, ensemble work, and thematic play.
Prerequisite: completion of SFI Level 4 or permission from the Artistic Director
