DESCRIPTION:Saturdays: August 29 – October 17\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Class Time: 2-4pm\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				8 consecutive weeks\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Instructor: Kristin Larsen\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				This class introduces the monologue as a way to create premise-based longform improv sets. Develop the ability to make premise-based initiations that help jump start your scene. Build on the fundamentals of creating a base reality (who\, what\, where) and emotional reality. Revisit and heighten scenes later in the set with second beats. Other things explored in this level are framing and justification. \nPrerequisite: Level 1: Intro to Longform or prior improv experience \nFINANCIAL AID INFOSanta Fe Improv is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. DESCRIPTION:Saturdays\, August 29 – October 17\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				2-4pm\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Instructor: Eric Weiss\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				The Piñata is a long-form structure developed at the Magnet Theater in New York.  \nIf you’ve worked through the Harold and a handful of other long forms and you’re starting to feel like you’re going through the motions\, this is worth your attention. During this class we will put pressure on three things: emotional depth\, relationship to the physical space and environment\, and genuine point of view. \nIt runs three beats: a seven-minute base scene of four characters in easy conversation\, followed by four two-person scenes that pull each character into a new relationship and a new dynamic\, followed by a run where everything collides. \nDone well\, the form can run forty-five minutes to an hour. This class is eight weeks of learning how to build something that long. \nPre-req: Must have completed through Level 4 at Santa Fe Improv or approval of instructor.\n			\n				Get Tickets
