SUMMARY:Stand & Deliver: A Communication and Leadership Program
DESCRIPTION:Supported by the City of Santa Fe — Go Local\, Go Different Fund | Spring 2026 \n\n\nTHE PROGRAM \n  \n\n\nThe quality of your communication has a huge influence on the impact of your work. How you express yourself to clients\, employees\, investors\, and collaborators shapes how people receive you. \n\n\nThis is a four-session program that gives you the skills to communicate more effectively across all of the environments and scenarios where it matters. You’ll learn to say less and land more\, to be comfortable in high-stakes conversations\, and to express yourself in a way that people take in. \n\n\nThe work is hands-on. You practice with real scenarios from your own business\, alongside other owners working through the same things. \n\nWHAT YOU’LL DEVELOP\n\nOver four sessions\, you move through a progression: \n\n\nCommunication Clarity One of the ways we get in our own way is trying to figure out what we’re saying while we’re saying it. When you know your point before you walk into the room\, everything moves more fluidly — the conversation\, the pitch\, the meeting. You’ll learn how to get clear on what you’re trying to express so that when you speak\, it’s simple\, direct\, and easy for others to hold on to. \n\n\nActive Listening Most miscommunication isn’t a speaking problem; it’s a listening problem. You’ll develop the ability to hear what people are actually saying\, not just what you expect them to say. When your clients and your team feel heard\, they trust you more\, they share more\, and the quality of every conversation goes up. \n\n\nCollaboration The best ideas don’t come from one person. They come from the space between people when the communication is right. You’ll learn how to create that space: how to build on what others bring\, how to make room for input without losing direction\, and how to move a group toward a decision without forcing it. \n\n\nAdaptability Every room is different. You’ll develop the ability to read what a situation asks for and adjust how you communicate\, without losing what’s true for you. This is what makes the difference between someone who has one gear and someone who can navigate anything. \n\n\nLeadership Presence Your greatest contribution as a leader is in finding the way you wish to be present. What gets in the way isn’t a lack of skill; it’s trying to be something you’re not\, or not allowing yourself to fully own your way. We help you find how you’re meant to show up. \n\n\nDETAILS \n  \n\n\n📅 Dates: April 19 – May 10\, 2026 (Every Sunday)🕐 Time: 12:30 – 3:00 pm📍 Location: Santa Fe Improv🔄 Format: Four sessions\, 2.5 hours each \n\nYOUR INVESTMENT\n\n$625 full program value $313 per person — made possible by a grant from the City of Santa Fe’s Go Local\, Go Different Fund \n\n\nPayment plans available. No one turned away for inability to pay. \n\nSanta Fe Improv delivers workforce communication training\, leadership development\, and applied improv professional development. Supported by the City of Santa Fe — Office of Economic Development through the Go Local\, Go Different Fund.\n \n GET TICKETS

Ultimately\, we’re playing make-believe with our friends. That’s so fun! This workshop is all about simplifying things by getting back to the basics and focusing on having a blast on stage. In order for the audience to have fun\, the people on stage need to be having the most fun! Let’s lead with joy and see where that takes us. \n\n\nAll levels. \n\nINSTRUCTOR: Casey Feigh is a comedic actor\, writer\, producer & director and the creator of Holy Shit Improv\, a comedy show featuring the best improv talent in Los Angeles. Casey is a regular on the podcast Comedy Bang! Bang! and has taught improv all around the world\, as well as at the UCB Theatre since 2012 where he also performs in ASSSSCAT and with his graduated Harold Team JV in #ThrowbackFriday. As an actor Casey has appeared in What We Do In The Shadows\, Unprisoned\, For All Mankind\, Lessons in Chemistry\, The Goldberg’s\, Night Court & more. Casey has created and sold shows to Comedy Central & Pop TV and also written for NBC\, Disney and FunnyOrDie. Casey loves to teach and talk about improv\, he believes “if this is true\, what else is true” is more important than “yes\, and”.\n\n \n Get Tickets

SUMMARY:MASTERCLASS WITH WILL HINES: VERTICAL VS HORIZONTAL HEIGHTENING (PLEASE READ PREREQUISITE)
DESCRIPTION:MASTER CLASS WITH WILL HINES: VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL HEIGHTENING\n \n \n \n \n \n Sunday\, May 12th: VERTICAL VS HORIZONTAL HEIGHTENING @11am-2pm\nThis class is about supporting a scene once it gets going. We’ll look at “vertical” heightening — repeat what’s going on already\, except BIGGER. And then also the more elusive “horizontal” heightening (move to elsewhere in the world\, follow the consequences\, fill out the history that got us here). You need both kinds. This is a very improv nerdy but fun workshop in what to do once things get going!\n\nPrerequisite: Students must have taken\, or be currently taking\, SFI’s Level Three (or higher) Improv classes at SFI (or those with equivalent improv experience).\nWill has been teaching long-form improv since 2004 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre\, at both its New York and Los Angeles branches. He’s published a best-selling book on improv called How to Be The Greatest Improviser on Earth. He’s also a working comedic actor and has appeared on many terrific television programs (Brooklyn 99) and on some big podcasts (Comedy Bang-Bang) as well as the 99 podcasts he’s produced himself (including Screw It We’re Just Gonna Talk about the Beatles) He’s also the founder of the audaciously-named World’s Greatest Improv School.\nImdb: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2654402/\ninstagram: @williebhines

It’s easy until it’s not. We will go over some solid strategies (one step beyond\, analogous\, using a character)\, problems to avoid (don’t forget the why) and things that are different than non-premise improv (yes\, you can tell the other person who they are). Once the scene gets going\, it’s easy.
