DESCRIPTION:MASTER CLASS WITH WILL HINES: PULLING PREMISE BASICS\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Saturday\, May 11th: PULLING PREMISE BASICS @11am-2pm\nGive a monologue and initiate a premise. It’s easy until it’s not. We will go over some solid strategies (one step beyond\, analogous\, using a character)\, problems to avoid (don’t forget the why) and things that are different than non-premise improv (yes\, you can tell the other person who they are). Once the scene gets going\, it’s easy. Get sharp at this very useful tool and approach.\nPrerequisite: Students must have taken\, or be currently taking SFI’s Level One Improv classes at SFI (or those with equivalent improv experience).\nWill has been teaching long-form improv since 2004 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre\, at both its New York and Los Angeles branches. He’s published a best-selling book on improv called How to Be The Greatest Improviser on Earth.
