In this musical improv workshop, students will work on the basics of creating a musical improv scene, which includes creating a character point of view, matching and varying harmonies, creating unified choruses, and more. Students will then dive into creating an original narrative musical with their classmates. Taught by RJ Williams, instructor at Second City. See prerequisite.
In this workshop, students will learn the basics of creating a Hip Hop improv scene. We will dive into various styles of flow and work various aspects of our rhyming brains. There will be exercises to introduce students to rhyming structure, story progression through rapping and more. The workshop will end with scenes that lead into rap. There is no prerequisite for this class.
