HIP HOP IMPROV WORKSHOP WITH RJ WILLIAMS: THURS, JUNE 27 (NO PREREQ)
In this workshop, students will learn the basics of creating a Hip Hop improv scene. We will dive into various styles of flow and work various aspects of our rhyming brains. There will be exercises to introduce students to rhyming structure, story progression through rapping, and more. The workshop will end with scenes that lead into rap. There is no prerequisite for this class.
This workshop includes: Various styles of flow, rhyming structure, and improvised rapping.
Instructor:  RJ Williams teaches at The Second City NY and has performed improv in the US, Europe, and Japan. He is part of the musical supergroup Baby Wants Candy, which performs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival every year, and is a veteran member of North Coast Hip Hop Improv. He is also a playwright, drummer, and produces music for various projects.
