Teacher Bio:
Amadeus Dameron

Amadeus has been performing and teaching improv for over seven years. His journey in the art of improvisation has taken him to stages in Chicago, Tampa, Orlando, Albuquerque, and Santa Fe. He is the founder of two local teams, Cat on a Leash and The Oh Geez, and has also performed with Left on Read and The Box’s house Harold team, The Nightcap. Known for his high-energy playing style and ability to provide positive reframes, Amadeus brings the expertise of a delusional stage veteran that will never stop doing improv.

 “Elevate your character work in this intensive two-part workshop designed to expand your improv voice. In this two-hour session workshop, you’ll grasp character basics, develop instant character generation, and learn character archetypes with distinct voices and physicalities. 

 

 From status exploration, to character wants, to bold scene work, you’ll build a diverse repertoire of characters while strengthening your ability to make bold choices in the moment.
