Two student comedy improv teams perform, followed by an intermission with free pizza and drinks. After the intermission is a hosted improv jam during which members of the audience can participate in improv on stage.
Give a monologue and initiate a premise. It's easy until it's not. We will go over some solid strategies (one step beyond, analogous, using a character), problems to avoid (don't forget the why) and things that are different than non-premise improv (yes, you can tell the other person who they are). Once the scene gets going, it's easy. Get sharp at this very useful tool and approach.
