Gaelyn Brown
Technical Assistant
Gaelyn has been fascinated by the performing arts for as long as she can remember, and after discovering that she can neither sing nor dance, she threw herself into acting with a vengeance. Over the past several years she has been trained in stage, film, voice, and improv acting, as well as teaching children’s film classes at KD Studios and theater at the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center in Dallas. Since March of 2023, she has been working sound and lights for shows at Santa Fe Improv nearly every weekend, as well as taking classes and performing. She would have gone to an acting school if she had more money than she does, but at the moment she is happily pursuing a history degree online through Eastern New Mexico University (having way too much fun writing essays about medieval plagues and inquisitions). Gaelyn loves nothing more than variety in life, bouncing around from her original home in Appalachia to six other states, and is now greatly enjoying the desert. She has explored a wide range of employment over the years, from baking to teaching to her current day job as a school janitor (her favorite so far, believe it or not). In her spare time, Gaelyn is working on drafting a novel, and enjoys spending hours on end painting her own face.
