Laurel Johnson

Operations and Program Manager / Youth Instructor

Laurel has been on a kick of trying new things which joyously led her to long form improv. Since moving to the Southwest in May 2023, she’s dabbled in permaculture design, natural building, goat tending, and rug weaving. Her current escapades include astronomy, banjo playing, and writing. Laurel has worked as a registered nurse, teacher, and wilderness trip leader. Some of her favorite things about improvising are: the total focus on the present, the unpredictability and surprise in where a scene will take you, and the awesome people that make up the SFI community.
