Michael Lovato

Instructor

Michael Lovato has been performing improv since 2006. He is a graduate of The Groundlings Writer Lab in LA, studied at WGIS in LA with Will Hines and Jim Woods and has also appeared on the Improv4Humans podcast. He performs in Santa Fe with The Faculty Lounge. He was a longtime performer on “The Show,” New Mexico’s longest running improv show. Having accumulated over 500 performances.

Michael is a SAG-AFTRA actor who can be seen in FOX’s in The Cleaning Lady, EPIX’s Get Shorty, recurring alongside Nick Nolte in Graves, and also recurring in Perpetual Grace, Ltd. He can be seen starring as Luke in the feature film Captive as well as the lead in the independent feature Millennium Bugs. Michael also has theatre credits with acclaimed Albuquerque theatre company Duke City Repertory Theatre.

Michael was also the director of “Big Feelings” New Mexico’s last-known Harold Team.
